In the beginning...Drs. J.S. Rambaran (Mitra) is health studies scientist with many years of experience in this field. In 2003 she started working als freelance media programma maker in The Hague using the name hannabaran productions.
Mission
Our mission is to develop your information and its transfer such that it appeals to ethnic minority groups..
Goals
We achieve this by making Dutch radio and television productions with which the target groups can identify themselves.
In the sectors Public Health, Welbeing, Culture an Education we work as bridge builders between Public and non profit organisations on the one hand, and ethnic minority goups and their organizations on the other.
In both the commercial and the non profit sectors we aim to make media productions available to firms, associations and other small scale organizations.
Fields of interest :
Culture: diversification, gender, emancipation, integration
Health and welbeing: customs, taboos, safe sex.
Eduction: communication methodology, participation of ethnic minority grouops.
Main activities
hannabaran media productions is specialized in the management of multimedia productions. We have a thorough knowledge of the working practices in the relevant disciplines, sectors and markets. This applies to the research, planning and organization; the initiation of projects, their execution and evaluation.
Besides project management we offer and provide fieldwork and technical services for research, presentation and promotional activities. Early in the planning phase project policy is decided in collaboration with the client.
Clients
Our clients include, but are not limited to: Television and radio broadcasting companies, governmental and small to medium scale private organizations in the sectors health and welbeing and education.
